Welcome to Just Dew It

A Movement for Tyler Burt

Welcome to the official website of Just Dew It - A Movement for Tyler Burt. My name is Jordyn Burt, and I am Tyler Burt's younger sister. I sincerely thank everyone for the tremendous support shown to my brother, Tyler. Your kindness has made a significant difference in his recovery journey.

For those who may not know, Tyler experienced a silent stroke and was found in his Austin, Texas, apartment nearly 24 hours later. He was in a coma for most of November and celebrated his 32nd birthday while still unconscious. During this time, he was in the ICU and was assessed to be practically brain-dead.

This has been incredibly difficult for our family and loved ones, but I am happy and emotional to say that Tyler has woken up and is still our Tyler. He has begun to wake up, gradually reducing various medications, while we all prayed that he was still in there.

All the money raised through this initiative will go toward Tyler's medical expenses related to this tragedy. Although he is making progress, he will require ongoing medical care for the foreseeable future. Our goal is to continue his rehabilitation and therapy to help him regain as much independence as possible. The funds will also be used to cover any medical equipment and medications he needs. Additionally, we aim to find a way for Tyler to return home as soon as it is feasible and medically safe.
This website not only serves as a platform for financial support but also a place for you to share your kind messages and stories to help uplift Tyler's spirits. He deeply loves his family and friends and misses everyone greatly. Being so far from Michigan has increased the need to keep his motivation high. Thank you once again for your support.
